Something in me said: Go.

So I booked the ticket. Here’s what has my attention this week.

Hello, legend.

I hope you’re having a beautiful, blessed start to your week.

I have four things to share with you today.

Come to San Diego with me

This is a slightly unusual email, but I wanted to send it while the impulse was alive.

I booked my ticket to Dr. Joe Dispenza’s week-long retreat in San Diego, happening August 22–28.

This will be my first time attending one of his retreats.

I’d been curious about the experience for a while, but after reading Danny Miranda’s article about his experience, something in me clicked:

Go.

So I booked it.

Then, over the last couple of days, another thought kept returning:

What if some of you came too?

The idea genuinely excites me.

Thousands of people gathering in one room to meditate for a week. Stepping away from ordinary life. Going deeply into the work. Giving ourselves fully to the experience and seeing what might shift.

And somewhere inside that enormous room, there could be a group of us experiencing it together.

How cool would that be?

I think there could be something incredibly powerful about sharing the experience with a few people from this community.

For complete clarity, this isn’t sponsored. I have no affiliation with Dr. Joe Dispenza or the retreat. I’m sharing this purely because I’m going, I’m excited, and I felt inspired to extend the invitation.

I’m going either way. My ticket is booked.

But if you’ve been thinking about attending one of these retreats, or something in you lights up as you read this, take a look:

And if you decide to come, reply and tell me.

I’ll connect everyone who’s going so we can find one another in San Diego.

Let’s make an adventure of it.

Attention

There are a handful of articles I’ve returned to again and again over the years.

Steve Pavlina’s Attention is one of them.

It changed the way I think about what deserves access to my mind, my energy, and my life.

Most of us think carefully about where we invest our money.

Far fewer of us apply the same discernment to our attention, even though our attention may be the more valuable resource.

Where has yours been going lately?

Is it feeding the life you want to create?

Or is it quietly being consumed by things that have very little to give back?

This is one of those articles that makes me want to pause, take inventory, and reorganize my life around what genuinely matters.

Set aside some uninterrupted time and read it:

God Moments

I came across a podcast between Keira Brinton and Kate Northrup last night, and pressed play.

Within a few minutes, I had goosebumps.

Keira was describing a way of moving through life that felt deeply familiar to me:

those special moments in life when I’m at my most aligned, when I fully trust life, follow my intuition, and act on the quiet instruction before I have all the answers.

She shares story after story of doing exactly that, and receiving miraculous results.

At one point, the bank account for her publishing company had fallen to $14. She walked into the bank ready to close it, heard a clear inner instruction from God to ‘stop’, and listened. The following week, a client appeared who needed a publisher.

Later, she felt repeatedly called to attend a gathering on Necker Island, despite the $40,000 cost.

She asked God for a clear sign that she was meant to go.

Five minutes later, a client offered to wire her $45,000.

Listening to her, I kept thinking about what I personally call God moments.

Those moments when you release your fears, trust the instruction, take the step, and life responds in a way you never could have orchestrated yourself.

What moved me most wasn’t simply the money or the synchronicities. It was the level of trust she has built with life.

She listens.

She moves.

And again and again, the path appears beneath her feet.

If you want to see someone operating fully in God Mode, listen to this conversation.

Unlock Presence Mode is underway

This weekend, we began Unlock Presence Mode inside my community.

Every day, a new 20-minute meditation is released, followed by a Presence Prompt to help you reflect, listen inwardly, and bring something from the meditation into your day.

Everything is available on demand, so you can practice whenever it works for you, wherever you are in the world.

And after only the first day, people are already sharing that they’re feeling more gratitude, more presence, and a deeper understanding of themselves.

That is the power of giving yourself 20 quiet minutes.

Twenty quiet minutes can be enough to shift the entire tone of your day.

A chance to step away from the noise, notice what’s happening within you, come back to yourself, deepen your connection to your intuition, and receive clarity on the next steps.

We’re only at the beginning, so this is a beautiful time to join us.

That’s it for today.

An invitation to adventure.

A reminder to choose carefully where your attention goes.

A conversation that deepened my trust in life.

And a daily practice for returning to yourself.

What’s been lighting you up lately?

Hit reply and tell me. I’d genuinely love to hear what’s alive for you right now.

Warmly,
James Xander
